Definition

해안은 바다, 호수, 강 등에서 물과 땅이 맞닿는 가장자리 땅을 말합니다.

해안은 바다에 가장 많이 쓰이지만, 호수나 강에도 사용할 수 있습니다. 'beach'는 주로 모래사장을, 'coast'는 넓은 해안 지역을 말합니다. 'on shore', 'offshore', 'come ashore' 등과 함께 자주 쓰입니다.
