'গল্প করা' ও 'আড্ডা মারা' সাধারণত অপ্রয়োজনীয় বিষয় নিয়ে বন্ধুত্বপূর্ণ আড্ডায় ব্যবহৃত হয়। অফিসিয়াল বা গুরুত্বপুর্ণ আলোচনায় ব্যবহার হয় না।
