誰かや何かを、その場から手を振ったり音を立てたりして追い払うこと。主に動物や好ましくない人に対して使います。

『shoo off』はカジュアルな表現で、動物を追い払う時によく使いますが、人に使うと失礼な印象を与えます。命令形で使われることが多いです。フォーマルな場には適しません。
