'Severest' অর্থ কোনো কিছুতে সবচেয়ে বেশি কঠোর, গুরুতর বা চরম মাত্রার বোঝাতে ব্যবহার হয়।

ফর্মাল লেখায় বা কথ্যতায় বেশি ব্যবহৃত হয় যেমন 'severest punishment', 'severest weather'। সাধারণ পরিস্থিতিতে ব্যবহার করা হয় না।
