Definition

সাধারণত পাথর দিয়ে তৈরি ও মাটির উপরে থাকা সমাধি, যা প্রায়ই গির্জা বা কবরস্থানে পাওয়া যায়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

‘সমাধি’ বা ‘সমাধিস্থল’ শব্দটি সাহিত্যিক বা আনুষ্ঠানিক প্রসঙ্গে বেশি ব্যবহৃত হয়। দৈনন্দিন কথাবার্তায় 'কবর' বেশি প্রচলিত। 'Holy Sepulchre' বলতে যিশুর কবরে বোঝানো হয়।
