어떤 일이 제대로 이루어지도록 책임지고 확인하거나 조치를 취하는 것.

격식 있는 상황이나 업무적인 자리에서 책임이나 당부를 전달할 때 사용한다. 본인이 직접 하기보다는 일이 잘 처리되도록 챙기는 의미임.
