海辺などで見つかる、海の生き物が作った硬くて美しい外殻のことです。主に中身がない殻を指します。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に海辺で見かける、中身のない殻を指します。アクセサリー作りにもよく使われます。「collect seashells」は貝殻集めの意味。'shellfish'（貝類の動物）と混同しないよう注意。
