小動物や子供が急いで小さな足取りで動く様子を表します。しばしば虫やネズミなどにも使われます。

緊急感やそわそわした感じが出る言葉で、特に虫やネズミ、子供の動きに使います。「走る」より具体的な描写です。フォーマルな表現ではありません。
