キッチンの隣にある、小さな皿洗いや調理器具を洗うための部屋。主に昔の家や大きな邸宅に見られます。

主に英国の歴史的な文脈かフォーマルな場面で使われます。現代の家庭ではあまり見かけません。「scullery」は「pantry」（食品庫）や「laundry room」（ランドリールーム）とは異なります。
