Definition

汚れやシミを取り除くために、何かを徹底的にこすって掃除すること。また、完全に消し去るという意味でも使われます。

主に口語的な表現。容器やバスタブ、しつこい汚れをこする時によく使われます。また、名簿の名前を完全に消す時にも使われます。'scrub up'（手術前の手洗い）と混同しないよう注意。
