聖典

Definition

聖典とは、宗教ごとに神聖で権威あるとされる書物や文書のことです。例えば、聖書、コーラン、ヴェーダなどが該当します。

宗教的またはフォーマルな場面で使われます。特定の聖典を指す場合は大文字で書くことがあります。「聖典を学ぶ」「聖典を引用する」などの表現があります。複数の経典を指すことが多いです。
