誰かに直接言葉をかけること、相手に向かって話すこと。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

'say to'は話しかける相手を強調するときに使い、『say to someone』のように使う。「tell」とは違い、必ず「to」が必要です。

She said to her friend, "Let's go!"

彼女は友達に「行こう！」と**言いました**。

I say to my teacher, "Thank you."
