鷸是一種體型小巧、身形纖細的涉禽，腿長嘴細，常在海灘或河岸等水邊出現。

“鷸”指許多外形類似的涉禽，常在科學、賞鳥或自然相關語境出現，日常對話少用。常與“羣”、“水邊”、“候鳥”搭配。不要與“海鷗”混淆。
