Definition
জলযান বা নৌকায় বিশেষভাবে বাতাসে চলার জন্য ভ্রমণ করা। নাম হিসাবে, এটি নৌকার বাতাস ধরার জন্য ব্যবহৃত বড় কাপড়।
Usage Notes (Bengali)
ক্রিয়ারূপে 'পাল তোলা' জলযান যেমন নৌকা বা জাহাজে ব্যবহৃত হয়: 'sail across the ocean', 'sail from Boston to Miami'-এর মতো। 'Raise the sails', 'a boat with white sails'-এর মত বাক্যে 'পাল' নাম হিসাবে ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'sale'-এর সঙ্গে বিভ্রান্ত হবেন না।
