急ぐ急いで行く

Definition

時間がないときに物事を急いで行ったり、どこかに急いで行くこと。また、忙しい時間帯や突然の混雑などを指すこともある。

'Don't rush'は「急がないで」、'I'm in a rush'は「急いでいる」の意味。'rush to do something'や 'rush hour' など、さまざまな定型表現がよく使われる。'hurry' よりも緊急性や突然さを強く感じさせることが多い。

Please don't rush your homework.
