किसी वाहन से किसी को या किसी चीज़ को टक्कर मारकर ऊपर से गुजर जाना, आमतौर पर दुर्घटनावश। कभी-कभी भावनात्मक या अधिकता के संदर्भ में भी इस्तेमाल होता है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

आमतौर पर वाहन से किसी के ऊपर से गुजरने के लिए। 'run over with a car' अकसर सुना जाता है। मुहावरे के रूप में भी: 'run over with excitement' यानी उत्साह से भर जाना। 'run past' या 'run beside' जैसा नहीं है।
