誰か（特に恋人）や物をこっそりと、突然持ってどこかへ行ってしまうこと。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

恋愛関係で「駆け落ちする」、物を盗む時は「持ち逃げする」となる。たんに『run away』のように使わない点に注意。
