노를 저어서 사람이 직접 움직이는 작은 배입니다. 엔진이나 돛이 없습니다.

주로 강이나 호수에서 여가, 낚시 등 간단한 용도로 쓰는 노 젓는 보트입니다. 미국식 영어에서는 'rowboat'을, 영국식에서는 'rowing boat'을 더 자주 씁니다.
