Definition

鳥やコウモリが休んだり眠ったりするために、木の枝や高い場所にとまること。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に鳥やコウモリに使う表現で、他の動物にはほとんど使いません。「nesting」とは異なり、巣作りや子育てではなく、ただ休む・寝る行為です。
