Definition

他の人と一緒に家やアパートの部屋を借りて住むことを指します。特に『ルーミングハウス』などの言い方で使われます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

『rooming house』や『rooming with someone』など限定的な表現で使われ、動詞単独ではあまり使われません。『roommate』（ルームメイト・同居人）とは異なります。
