把某人重要或有价值的东西拿走,尤其是不公平或用强力。有时用于字面意义上的盗窃,也可以指某人失去能力、感情或机会。

'Rob of' 既可以指实际偷窃,也能表示抽象损失(如 'rob someone of their youth')。通常说被拿走的东西和失去的人。不要和 'steal from' 混淆。抽象用法较正式或书面。
