広い範囲を自由に、特に目的や決まった道もなく移動すること。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

動物や人が自由に目的なく移動する時によく使われます。日常の通勤には使いません。「通りを歩き回る」「田舎を歩き回る」などでよく使われます。
