무언가를 힘으로 두 개의 같은 크기 또는 거의 같은 크기의 조각으로 찢는 것.

주로 종이나 얇은 재질에 사용. 'tear'보다 더 빠르고 강한 동작. 과장/비유적 느낌으로도 많이 쓰임.
