Definition

石鹸や汚れを落とすために水や他の液体で素早く洗い流すこと。「で」は、すすぐ際に使う液体を表します。

取扱説明書やレシピ、掃除の際によく使われます（例：「水ですすぐ」）。「で」の後は使う液体を必ず書きます。「wash（洗う）」とは違い、すすぐは軽く洗い流す意味です。
