Definition

中心点のまわりを円を描くように動くこと。また、特定の考えや話題を中心に展開することも指す。

主に科学的な文脈（天文学や物理学）で使われることが多い。'spin'や'turn'よりもフォーマルな表現。比喩的に「～を中心に展開する」という意味もある。「evolve」と混合しないよう注意。

The Earth revolves around the Sun.
