通常は年齢のために仕事を辞めて、年金や貯金、投資など一定のお金で暮らすこと。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

必ず金額やお金の出所と組み合わせて使う：'retire on pension'（年金で暮らす）。場所に引退する意味ではないので注意。
