Resolutions 指堅定的決定或承諾，要做或不做某事，通常在新年開始時作出。這個詞也可以指團體或組織的正式決議。

常見於“New Year's resolutions”（新年新希望），指個人目標。正式場合則指決議、正式決定。不要與 'solution'（解決方法）混淆。
