Definition
피의자를 재판이나 추가 조사 전까지 구금하는 것. 때로는 사건을 하급 법원으로 돌려보내 추가 조치를 하게 하기도 함.

법률, 공식 상황에서 거의 사용. '구금하다', '구속하다', '환송하다' 등으로 주로 법정/뉴스에서 등장.
