Definition

「reflecting」は、鏡や水面のように像を映すこと、または何かについて深く考えることを意味します。

物理的な反射（光、像）と精神的な熟考の両方で使われます。'reflecting on your life' は「人生を振り返る」、'reflecting an image' は「像を映す」です。
