কোনো কিছুর পরিমাণ, আকার বা গুরুত্ব কমে যাওয়াকে বোঝায়। প্রায়ই ব্যবসা বা বৈজ্ঞানিক ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'cost reduction', 'price reduction', 'reduction by half' প্রভৃতি শব্দগুচ্ছ ব্যবসায়িক বা বৈজ্ঞানিক পরিভাষায় বেশি ব্যবহৃত হয়। সাধারণ কথায় খুব বেশি ব্যবহৃত হয় না।
