赤みは、皮膚や目が普段より赤くなることを指し、主に炎症や刺激、感染などが原因で見られます。

主に医療や説明の場面で使います。『skin redness（皮膚の赤み）』『eye redness（目の赤み）』などが一般的。「blush（赤面）」や日焼けによる赤みとは区別してください。
