অপ্রাপ্তবয়স্ক ও কথা বলার সময় ব্যবহার হয়; 'turn red in the face', 'get red in the face' একসাথে বলা যেতে পারে। সাধারণত হঠাৎ লজ্জা, রাগ বা কসরতে মুখ লাল হয়।
