누군가나 무언가를 이전과 다른 역할, 업무, 또는 장소로 다시 배정하는 것.

주로 비즈니스, 교육, IT에서 공식적으로 사용. ‘reassign someone/something to…’ 형태로 자주 쓰이고, 해고가 아닌 업무·역할 변경 의미임.
