صيغة الماضي من 'ready'؛ تعني تجهيز شيء أو إعداده للاستخدام أو العمل.

أكثر رسمية وأقل شيوعًا من 'prepared'. تُستخدم غالبًا في السياقات العسكرية أو الرسمية. غالبًا يأتي بعدها الشيء المُجهز: 'She readied the equipment.' وتظهر كثيرًا في المبني للمجهول: 'The team was readied.'
