"rattle around in" in Japanese

自分には広すぎて空いている場所の中をうろうろすること。しばしば音がしたり、孤独感を感じたりする。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
口語的な言い方で、「家」「部屋」など居住空間でよく使う。他にも箱などに物がバラバラ入っているときにも使う。孤独や虚しさをほのめかすことも多い。
