何かを特定のレベルや基準、数量まで高めること。数値やランクなどを上げるときによく使われる表現。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

多くは「raise [対象] to [レベル/数量]」の形で使われる。ビジネスや学術でよく登場する。'rise to'（自分で達する）とは違う。数値や基準など抽象的なものによく用いる。
