달리기, 자동차, 자전거, 말과 같은 경주에 참가하는 사람이나 동물을 일컫는다.

‘car racers’, ‘professional racers’ 등과 같은 표현에서 사용. 단순히 서두르는 사람에게는 사용하지 않음.

The fastest racers get a trophy at the end of the race.
