引用とは、本や人の発言などから直接抜き出した言葉のこと。または商品の価格の見積もりも指します。

学術的・ビジネスの場面や文章で使われるフォーマルな語です。価格の場合は「見積もり」となり、くだけた言い方では「クオート」が使われます。文章中では引用符が付きます。
