Definition
পানির ধারে তৈরি প্ল্যাটফর্ম বা কাঠামো, যেখানে নৌকা বা জাহাজ যাত্রী বা মালামাল ওঠানো-নামানোর জন্য থামে।

শব্দটি ফরাসি থেকে এসেছে; দৈনন্দিন বাংলায় 'ঘাট' বেশি প্রচলিত। সাহিত্য বা ভ্রমণমূলক লেখায় 'quai' ব্যবহার হতে দেখা যায়।
