Definition

四つの辺を持つ図形、特に建物に囲まれた中庭のこと。学校や大学の中央の広場などを指す場合が多いです。

「中庭」は学校などでよく使われ、「四辺形」は図形としての意味。日常会話では「中庭」と呼ぶことが多いです。
