Definition

어떤 일을 나중으로 미루다. 때로는 누군가의 흥미나 의욕을 떨어뜨릴 때도 사용함.

주로 일상에서 쓰며, "put off doing homework"처럼 사용. 영구적인 취소("cancel")와는 다름. 누군가를 싫어하게 하거나 흥미를 잃게 할 수도 있음.

I always put off my homework until late.

나는 항상 숙제를 늦게까지 **미뤄**.

Don’t put off going to the doctor.

병원 가는 걸 **미루지** 마.

Can we put off the meeting until tomorrow?
