弟子とは、経験豊かな人から指導や支援を受けて学ぶ、若手や未経験者を指します。

ビジネスや芸術、学問分野で使われるフォーマルな表現です。「mentor（師匠）」とは逆に、指導や援助を受ける側がprotege（弟子）です。
