故事、書籍、電影等敘述中的主要角色或最重要的人物。有時也指現實事件中的主角。

正式詞語，常用於文學、影視、故事情境。'主角'不一定是'英雄'，也可能是反英雄，只是故事的核心人物。對立詞是'反派'（antagonist）。
