Palabra literaria o formal, asociada principalmente a profetas o textos religiosos. No confundir 'prophesies' (verbo) con 'prophecies' (sustantivo). Usualmente aparece en tercera persona: 'She prophesies...'. Es raro en el habla cotidiana.
