Definition

進歩とは、目標に向かって前進したり、時間とともに物事が良くなったりすることです。成長や発展を表します。

「make progress」や「in progress」のようなフレーズで名詞としてよく使います。動詞の『進歩する』はやや堅い表現で、日常会話では「成長する」「前進する」もよく使われます。
