동물이 뭔가에 관심을 갖고 귀를 세우는 행동을 말하며, 사람이 갑자기 관심을 갖고 귀 기울일 때도 사용됩니다.
Usage Notes (Korean)
주로 동물에 쓰지만, 비유적으로 사람이 갑자기 집중할 때도 쓸 수 있어요. 'perk up one's ears'와 동일하게 익살스럽거나 이야기체에서 등장합니다. 공식 표현이 아닙니다.
