容器内に空気やガス、液体などに圧力をかけること。または、人に何かを強く勧めたり、圧力をかけて何かをさせようとすること。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

技術的な場面（「cabinを加圧する」など）と人にプレッシャーをかける場合の両方で使われます。名詞の「pressure」とは区別してください。
