理由はないが、何か（多くは悪い・重要なこと）が起こる予感や感じがすること。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「presentiment」は文語的で日常会話ではあまり使われません。未来への不吉な予感、説明しづらい不安な気持ちによく使います。より鮮明な予知には「premonition」などがありますので区別してください。
