Reçete, doktorun hangi ilacı kullanmanız gerektiğini belirttiği resmi belgedir. Aynı zamanda yazılı kağıdı da ifade eder.

Genelde tıbbi bağlamda kullanılır: 'antibiyotik reçetesi', 'reçeteli ilaçlar'. Yemek tarifleri için 'reçete' yerine 'tarif' denir.
