非常に急激に、または急な傾斜で変化する様子を表します。急な下落や劇的な変化によく使われます。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
主に書き言葉やフォーマルな場で使われます。「急降下」や「人口急減」などマイナスの変化、または急斜面の描写に使います。ゆっくりした変化や良い変化には使いません。
